I have dealt with Hitman for several years and clearly they don’t appreciate customer loyalty. Tanya, the manager, is unprofessional in the way she communicates with clients and is undoubtedly unaware of the credo that “the customer is always right”. An order was placed to one of my properties without my consent and an invoice was sent to me. This was the second time this situation has happened where my tenant noticed someone at the property from Hitman without such consent. The first time it was chalked off to miscommunication and the second, surprise surprise, miscommunication again according to the owner John. However while speaking to Tanya, who btw considers herself a Customer Service Manager, when I said she probably misunderstood my request, she responded with, “No, I heard correctly.” So according to her when I received the text for services at my properties and I called my tenants to see if any services were needed and they said no, I must of had a temporary lapse of judgment for that 2-3 minute conversation we had while scheduling. Right….🙄. So not only was I spoken to unprofessionally, practically told I was a liar, and had an appointment scheduled without my consent, she ended the conversation by hanging up on me mid-sentence, while I was trying to confirm my upcoming appointment. When I called back I asked to speak to the owner John to complain of such treatment and disregard and was received with the questioned why? I’m sorry, I didn’t know I needed to give you a reason. Minutes later, the owner John calls me to be apologetic and chalked it up to “miscommunication”. As I started to explain myself, the conversation veered to how ALL of his clients are put on a set schedule for preventative reasons and that I was automatically clumped into this schedule, without my consent or knowledge btw, and that most don’t wait for an ant to walk over their check to call for their services. That’s odd bc I have been dealing with you for quite some time now and that’s not how we handled my properties, but now I am told otherwise?? If this was to be the case trust me this would have been dealt with immediately. Here I am thinking this would be resolved amicably, but the way he was responding, not so much. I told him that that might be ALL of his clients but I am not all, I am one. I know how I run my business and I decide when and where I need their services provided. I don’t need to be told as to how I should have their services conducted for me. Truly disrespectful. Needless to say I pulled my accounts and services by the end of that conversation and will be looking for another company that appreciates and talks to their customers with respect and appreciation. Sad bc I have been with them for awhile and I tend to be loyal to the businesses I work with if they are worth my time and business. I was going to add two more properties to my account and although I may not be like ALL of his other clients in a SET schedule, I was a loyal paying client when needed. I may not have fit his ideal client situation, but a business owner should know better that when it comes to client sustainability and growth, it all comes down to how you treat you customers and word of mouth.
I contacted this company shortly after I witnessed a small number of termites flying in my kitchen. The company was very flexible in their scheduling and contacted me to ensure that I had all the materials needed to make the tenting process go smoothly. They were professional but also friendly during the inspection and gave great advice/information. It has only been a few days since the job was completed but so far, I'm satisfied.
Hitman services our home monthly and recently fumigated for termites. We had so many questions and concerns. John was very patient and put our minds at ease. His staff is very professional and very polite. Keep up the good work! Highly recommend Hitman Pest Control.
Stuart and "D" came to my house today. They were very professional, and asked all of the right questions. I took the time to let them know the issues we were having and they in turn took the time to make sure they addressed the issues accordingly. They did a great job and I highly recommend them and this company.
