Latest update: Quality Assurance Technician came out to assess, or shall I say, blame me for the condition of the lawn. He said we have a moisture issue and blamed our pool which has drainage according to code where NO water from it comes close to our grass area. Then he started asking about how much we water. No sir. It's because you have technicians not showing up to scheduled appointments and documenting they treated the backyard when they didn't. Please, explain why we suddenly have a moisture problem when every report we received from the technician marks our level of moisture as good. Let's add insulting the customer's intelligence to your one-star review.
Update: I was NOT contacted by a Bug Out representative. However, a technician came out without a 2 day notice phone call on the morning Hurricane Milton was making landfall (Oct.9). A follow up appointment was made, but nobody showed up. The next afternoon, a new appointment was made. Weeds were killed from the treatment on Oct.9th, but now it already choked the grass. This is going to need to be re-sod due to Bug Out's negligence. I sent a message through Bug Out's website where I was supposed to receive a response within 24 hours. It's been over that, and I still haven't received a response.
I'm done. I have been with this company for well over 20 years, but something changed, and not for the better. We are set up to be called 2 days prior to service which stopped, and despite my multiple requests, has not resumed. For this reason, we did not know they were coming so they were not able to get in our backyard. However, their treatment report does not indicate this whatsoever. It just states treatment was completed. We have weeds taking over our grass back there, so I requested they come out to finish their job. They were able to squeeze us in two weeks later only for the tech to say that he doesn't have the right chemicals to treat that particular weed. He set up a new appointment two weeks later that disappeared from our account. I called to set up a new one, and that one magically disappeared too. Customer service might as well be called appointment makers because they respond to your issues in a syrupy sweet voice, but only set up new appointments for you (that get canceled). Your issues are never resolved and now it looks like I'm going to have to resod.

Called to schedule an appointment because of all the rain it has put a fungus on the yard.. Called on a Monday and was told someone would call to schedule me an appt. Called again Thursday because nobody called me back as promised. Called again Saturday because of no call back and was told they had someone scheduled to come out Tuesday between 8-12. Needed it earlier but there was nothing I could do. Tuesday around 2:45 when I got home from work it was a no show. Called again they told me they would have the tech call me and also the supervisor since I asked to speak with them. Here it is Wednesday 10 days later no service for my yard and now 1/2 of it is brown and no call back from anyone. They did tell me that we are scheduled for our regular service on 9/14 and I told them my yard can’t wait until then. Guess it will have to since they don’t call back or show up. Just hoping that they haven’t cancelled that appt thinking they came out yesterday. Yard was pretty green and this is what it looks like now.

We had a terrible yard ,used 2 fly by night companies that are a dime a dozen ,they promise the rainbow and the pot of gold at the end yet they were terrible,great sales pitch but terrible.Did our due diligence ,research and found a company that has been local and around for many years ,costs a lil bit more than the competition but I have been nothing but impressed!!!!BUGOUT is the answer if you want a knowledgeable yard service and I can’t speak for all the technicians but shoutout to our technician BOBBY TEETER!!!
He has been very thorough on the work he puts in,very knowledgeable and walked with us from the very start ….
that desert that I thought was un salvageable to the point we are at now,thank you BUGOUT and BOBBY!!! ,I highly recommend BUGOUT if you would like to get your St Augustine grass up to par….not exaggerating we have neighbors knock on our door asking “who does your grass”….had to share and give these guys the recognition they are due!!!

first, they took care of my problem. Second, they are predatory company.....I spent $300 for an initial treatment and plan. The service is poor. They gave me 3 times in the first month they would show and follow up to spray. however, they . Keep you waiting all day my "appointment was from 8-11 am they show up 4 hours later. lucky I was home. Both appointments were very late and past the time frame window quoted. Although I paid for 3 visits they only showed up for 2. Each time I had to call the company or technician to get treatment. Then they continue to bill my card for appointments they never completed. lucky my card was lost and they could not get payment. I would not recommend them. salespeople are nice when I asked the tech he said there was no timeframe on his order. however they told me I had to be home during a specific window of time. A waste of time and I will be seeking other companies to treat my monthly rental property needs.

We had Paul come out today for our initial treatment and he was absolutely fantastic. He answered all of our questions and gave us great peace of mind that Bug Out will be taking amazing care of us and that if we needed anything at all we can give them a call. He described everything he was doing and even showed me some different aspects of our house that I should be aware of, like where certain spiders might nest outside and how to take care of the areas around the house to prevent pests from being attracted. Paul was super great and we now know we’re in good hands! Thanks guys!!
